Mission
End-of-Life Options Alaska provides education, resources, and community support to ensure that Alaskans facing terminal illness have access to compassionate, informed options for their care. We promote understanding of end-of-life options through non-partisan, ethical, and culturally sensitive discussions, while fostering a network of individuals and professionals dedicated to respecting autonomy and medical aid in dying.
Vision
We envision an Alaska where every mentally capable and terminally ill adult, regardless of background or belief, has the knowledge and support to consider all available end-of-life options in alignment with their values and circumstances. By cultivating meaningful conversations and relationships, we lay the groundwork for a future where compassionate medical aid in dying is a legally recognized option, supported by a well-informed public and healthcare community.
